  • Comment On the 27th and 28th of August, 1937, excavations on the "Hochwindenkopf" above the Amberg Castle revealed a settlement reaching perhaps into the younger Stone Age, but at least until the early Bronze Age, which was surrounded by a stone wall at the beginning of the Hallstatt period has been.
