    • Comment From 23. 6. to 25. 8. 1937 was discovered on the "small parade ground" behind the castle "Gayenhofen" by the "Vorarlberger Landesmuseumsverein" and the "Homeland Security and Museum Association Bludenz" under the direction of Adolf Hild on parcel No. 915 ( north of the path parcel no. 3592) by Karl Hane in the course of the construction of a road at the advanced training school a prehistoric settlement of the Late Hallstatt Culture and Late Iron Age with predominantly Melauner culture. These are the first (5 urn graves) burials of the urn field culture (early Hallstatt culture) from Vorarlberg, which were apparently partially exposed to western cultural influences.
